Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. Announces with Sadness the Passing of Board Member Robert G. Culp, III
THOMASVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 10, 2018) - Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (Nasdaq: ODFL) announced today with sadness that Lead Independent Director Robert G. "Rob" Culp, III passed away Saturday following an illness. Mr. Culp was appointed to the Old Dominion Board of Directors in 2003 and had served as the Lead Independent Director since 2010.
Mr. Culp brought to the Board significant expertise regarding business leadership and the complex financial and regulatory requirements facing public companies. He also provided valuable guidance concerning the challenges and opportunities associated with global service offerings.

"He was a very dedicated Board member, a strong business leader and generous supporter of the local community. We will greatly miss his wisdom, guidance, and friendship.
