Old Dominion Freight Line CFO Named to Institutional Investor’s All-America Executive Team
2019 list recognizes excellence in investor relations
THOMASVILLE, N.C. (Nov. 21, 2018) – Old Dominion Freight Line’s (Nasdaq: ODFL) Chief Financial Officer, Adam Satterfield, was named to Institutional Investor’s 2019 All-America Executive Team for the second consecutive year.
Mr. Satterfield ranked No. 2 in the transportation sector for “Best CFO.” Overall results are based on votes from 3,399 portfolio managers and sell-side analysts. Investors voted for companies and leaders based on superior performance attributes including, accessibility of senior executive, IR is well-informed and authoritative, timely and appropriate financial disclosure, quick and thorough responses to requests and constructive conference calls.
Serving as a vital member of the company’s leadership team, Mr. Satterfield started at Old Dominion in 2004 as the manager of SEC reporting. In 2018, the company has demonstrated tremendous growth, with a strong third quarter resulting in a company operating ratio record of 78.4 percent and 21 percent revenue growth.
Institutional Investor previously recognized Mr. Satterfield as a ranked leader on the 2018 All-America Executive Team.
